Storytelling for an outdoor travel company

My adventure with Xavier Adventure is deeply linked to China. Xavier Adventure is a tourism company specialising in outdoor trips, especially for Chinese thrill seekers. I was living in Shanghai when the COVID pandemic started. We were all stuck in the country because of the zero-case policy. During the first year of the pandemic, Xavier Adventure organised different kinds of trips in the Yunnan province (Southwest China), including summer camps for children and teenagers and summer treks for families. These were all fanstastic experiences, and I was honoured to be asked by Xavier Adventure to write articles to be published on their social media.

Call of Mother Nature with Xavier Adventure!

Shanghai, summer 2020. The entire world is in the middle of the pandemic, but it is a bit special in China… Many of us couldn’t go out of China for vacation but didn’t want to stay in the city’s stunning heat. For urban dwellers, the idea was to lose a few degrees, see the horizon and some blue sky, and reconnect with Mother Nature after these hectic months. The best solution was to go up to the mountains, so let’s go into the wild Yunnan with Xavier Adventure - up to 5400m!

Summer Camps like no other with Xavier Adventure!

Summer Camps like no other with Xavier Adventure!

Summer 2020. This holiday season is a bit hectic because of the pandemic, especially for the children and teenagers living in China: no family gatherings, no friends, and no back-to-home country trips… Luckily, Xavier Adventure has organised two great tailor-made summer camps in Yunnan to make this summer unforgettable! Children from different nationalities have enjoyed this 100% nature-friendly experience around the magical site of Shangri-la. Taking care of farm animals, discovering local flowers, bread cooking sessions, survival day, hiking, campfires, games, and lots of fun were some of the most intense moments of these summer camps.
